My name is Derek Kunzman.
I’m a husband, a father, and a disciple of Jesus. The Viking Dad came from a place of deep need, a reminder to myself to stand firm, lead well, and walk faithfully.

Like many men, I’ve wrestled with the tension between who I am and who I’m called to be. I’m not perfect, far from it. I’ve failed, struggled, and fallen short. But I believe every man, by the grace of God, can rise again, lead with integrity, and walk in strength.

The Viking Dad is my reminder to myself and my challenge to you - to step into the fire, forge discipline through faith, and become the man your family needs.

We don’t run from the weight. We pick up our cross daily and carry it.
